Wynnchurch Capital closes Fund V at USD2.277bn

Middle market private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital has closed its fifth fund, Wynnchurch Capital Partners V, with USD2.277 billion of committed capital.

Middle market private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital has closed its fifth fund, Wynnchurch Capital Partners V, with USD2.277 billion of committed capital.The Fund, which had a target of USD1.6 billion, was significantly oversubscribed, resulting in the Fund reaching its hard cap and closing quickly after its initial launch in September 2019.

Wynnchurch has been successfully investing in middle market companies for over twenty years. Wynnchurch has closed five private equity funds since its founding in 1999 and has more than USD4.2 billion of committed capital under management. Fund V investors include: state pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, insurance companies, corporate pension plans, investment advisors and family offices from around the globe.
