CRUX, a British-Israeli startup that has developed the world’s first Knowledge Quantification platform, has announced a GBP1 million seed investment round led by WENVEST Capital, the B2B SaaS venture capital firm, and includes A-Round Capital and Founders Factory. With an overwhelming volume of information on both publisher and corporate platforms, CRUX’s groundbreaking deep tech supports digital media companies, financial services firms and management consultancies in helping users become more informed and more engaged. CRUX creates unique knowledge journeys around any topic, by measuring users’ knowledge build-up in real time, and directing users to the most valuable content for them.
CRUX uses advanced Natural Language Processing and unique proprietary algorithms to calculate and display for each user a live knowledge score measuring the share of available relevant information the user has covered. Employed as a widget or API, CRUX enables companies and publishers to optimise engagement, learning and research. Live deployments over the last two years have shown users dramatically increase their engagement and their knowledge when exposed to CRUX technology.
CRUX will leverage the current investment to scale-out its publisher product offering, further develop CRUX’s algorithm and engage with corporate design partners around new knowledge quantification use cases. .
