Dillon Eustace appoints Partner in Asset Management and Investment Funds team

Dillon Eustace has appointed Colman O’Loghlen as a Partner in the firm’s fourteen-partner strong Asset Management and Investment Funds team.

Colman specialises in advising firms on regulatory and structural issues relating to the establishment, and management of all types of investment fund structures.

Commenting on the appointment, Donnacha O’Connor, Managing Partner, says: “We’re delighted that Colman has joined Dillon Eustace. Our continuous investment in people and our team of experts is critical to successfully supporting our large national and international client base, and this appointment will greatly contribute to strengthening our position as a leading Irish legal firm and advisor to Irish Domiciled funds. Brexit and the recent new ILP fund structure afford great growth opportunities for the Irish funds industry. In this context, Colman’s experience and expertise represent a great asset to our firm and more importantly our clients.”

Prior to re-joining Dillon Eustace in February 2021, Colman spent just under five years in New York working for a global AM Law 100 firm. During his time in New York, he advised many of the world’s leading financial institutions and asset managers on the establishment, operation, corporate governance and registration of Irish regulated investment funds. In particular, he advised on UCITS and alternative investment funds authorised under the AIFMD regime, and funds organised in other jurisdictions offered on a private basis (US and Cayman Islands). Colman trained with Dillon Eustace, qualifying as a solicitor in December 2011.
