Sculptor Capital Management, an alternative investment company operating multi-strategy, credit and real estate strategies, has closed a €354m European collateralised loan obligation (CLO), Sculptor European CLO XI (SCULE 11).
SCULE 11, the second CLO issued by Sculptor in 2024 following the closing of its $406m US CLO XXXII, builds on the company’s institutional credit strategies business and will invest predominantly in broadly syndicated senior secured loans.
According to a press release, SCULE 11 attracted investor support from various global institutions across its equity and rated notes, while a portion of the equity was pre-placed with Sculptor’s recently launched captive CLO equity platform.
SCULE 11 was arranged by Barclays Bank.
