Stephen C Massanelli has rejoined Dallas-based private investment firm Treadstone Partners as a Principal.

Massanelli was most recently Senior Vice President and Treasurer for Zale Corporation (NYSE: ZLC). During his 10-plus years at Zale, Massanelli held responsibility for finance/treasury, real estate, IT, risk management and credit operations. During the past year, he co-led Zale’s capital restructuring and negotiated new private label credit card agreements for both the US and Canadian operations. His earlier experience includes a variety of positions with NationsBank and Amresco, both Bank of America predecessors, where among his responsibilities was the restructuring of distressed corporate debt portfolios.
In addition, Brian F Kowalchyk has also rejoined Treadstone as Senior Director. Prior to his return, Kowalchyk was Partner and Portfolio Manager at Patara Capital, a Dallas-based hedge fund focused on small-cap equities. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Analyst with Southwest Securities where he specialized in middle market valuations. Kowalchyk is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
