Previero, a specialist in the design and manufacturing of plastic recycling solutions and a portfolio company of environmental sustainability-focused asset manager Ambienta, has acquired Parini, marking its first strategic add-on since Ambienta’s investment.
Parini, a provider of equipment for the mechanical sorting of waste streams, has a longstanding commercial relationship with Previero.
Founded in 1985 in Reggio Emilia, Italy, Parini specialises in the development and production of equipment for the mechanical separation of waste into various types, such as rigid plastics and films, as well as the removal of contaminants.
According to a press statement, the acquisition marks Previero’s strategic entry into the mechanical sorting sector through M&A, and enhances the firm’s turnkey solutions offering.
