Atlantic-Pacific hires Christian Voss as partner

Atlantic-Pacific Capital, a placement agent for alternative investment funds and direct private placements, has appointed Christian H. Voss, former head of private capital markets for Cantor Fitzgerald, as partner in the direct private placements group.

Voss will focus on sourcing, structuring and execution. He will work closely with founder and chairman James Manley.

“I look forward to working with Christian as we expand our capabilities in placing direct transactions by leveraging our robust network of global relationships,” says Manley. “The direct private placements group will complement APC’s well-established funds business, which has over ten partners who have worked together for nearly eight years. Christian’s addition to the team continues Atlantic-Pacific’s deep commitment to clients, providing the highest quality and most forward-thinking private equity-related solutions.”

Prior to joining APC, Voss was managing director and head of private capital markets for Cantor Fitzgerald in New York and London. He has held senior positions within the capital markets for over 20 years and has sourced and structured transactions for issuers globally.

Prior to his tenure at Cantor Fitzgerald, Voss was a director at Merrill Lynch for eight years in New York and Hong Kong, responsible for the origination and execution of private placements.

Since inception in 1995, APC has acted as placement agent on over 50 transactions, raising approximately USD35bn in capital. The firm is currently raising seven funds, which have held recent closings totalling nearly USD2bn in capital commitments.
