Berdon Fund Services selects FundCount software

Berdon Fund Services, a New York-based fund administrator has incorporated FundCount’s accounting and investment software into its service offering.

FundCount is a Boston-based provider of integrated investment, partnership and general ledger accounting software that has been working with hedge funds, family offices and fund administrators since 1999. Berdon Fund Services’ adoption of the FundCount platform will enhance its service approach – by providing a robust solution that will enhance efficiency and overall client service – and better position the firm for growth.

Berdon Fund Services, an affiliate of New York-based Berdon LLP – Accountants and Advisors, was launched in 2015 to help private equity and other clients manage their accounting, administration, compliance, tax and investor reporting responsibilities. Led by industry experts with years of experience, the Berdon Fund Services Team assists clients in reducing risk and adapting to changes in the market and regulatory landscape.

“Berdon Fund Services strives to provide our fund clients with efficient and timely service so they can focus on meeting their investment and growth objectives,” says Michael Gottstein (pictured), CPA and Lead Partner of Berdon Fund Services. “FundCount’s rich functionality and intuitive, ease-of-use will enhance our ability to do this by enabling us to provide accurate and timely information as well as real-time reporting to our clients.”

“We are excited to be working with Berdon Fund Services,” says Alex Ivanov, CEO and founder of FundCount. “As a fund administration business grows, the need for automated processes and a single platform with integrated accounting, shareholder and investment data becomes more critical. We look forward to providing this functionality to Berdon now and in the future.”
