BGF has exited its minority investment in NewVoiceMedia, the market-leading cloud customer contact platform, to NYSE-listed communications provider Vonage Holdings Corp for USD350 million.
BGF invested in the London-headquartered business in 2015, joining a round of funding to accelerate NewVoiceMedia’s international growth plans, which was principally focussed on the North American market.
NewVoiceMedia has since grown rapidly, with new offices in Dallas and Munich, and international bookings growth of 55 per cent in 2017, and now serving more than 700 customers across six continents. It was positioned in the Leaders’ quadrant of Gartner Inc’s Magic Quadrant for Contact Centre as a Service, Western Europe, and was recently named by Forbes as one of the world’s top 100 cloud companies.
NewVoiceMedia’s market-leading cloud customer contact platform integrates seamlessly with Salesforce to connect organisations with their customers across the world, enabling them to deliver a personalised and unique customer experience and drive a more effective sales and marketing team.
Dennis Fois, CEO of NewVoiceMedia, says: “BGF’s funding and support has enabled us to continue on our incredible path of growth over the last few years, helping to expand our international footprint and our global customer base. We’re looking forward to the next stage of our journey with Vonage Holdings as we continue to help our clients grow their businesses with the utmost efficiency, and offer their customers a better, more emotive experience.”
Simon Calver, BGF, says: “NewVoiceMedia have worked incredibly hard to use their funding for impressive growth over the last few years. We’re really pleased to have been able to support the team through this exciting period and wish them all the best as they enter the next phase.”
