KKR Private Equity Investors has announced the resignation of Gérard Lamarche from the board of directors of KKR Guernsey, the general partner of KPE, due to obligations on his time unrelated to KPE.
Lamarche joined the board of directors of KKR Guernsey in June 2007.
‘We wholeheartedly thank Gérard for his many contributions to the board,’ says Kendra Decious, chief financial officer of KKR Guernsey. ‘We understand and respect his other duties and commitments and wish him continued success.’
The nominating and corporate governance committee of KKR Guernsey has undertaken a search for a new independent director to replace Lamarche.
The other members of the board are KKR co-founders Henry Kravis and George Roberts, Christopher Hill, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and Remmert Laan, vice-chairman of Leonardo & Co.
