New York-based private equity firm Clarion Capital Partners has made a strategic investment in Narrative Strategies, a Washington-based public affairs firm, which will see the agency’s Executive Partners maintain a significant ownership stake and continue to lead operations.
According to a press release, Narrative plans to “diversify its offerings, enhance existing capabilities, and expand into new markets” with the new partnership. The agency was founded in 2019 and represents over 65 practitioners working on behalf of large US companies, trade associations, nonprofits, and law firms. Its services include strategic communications, media relations, content development, creative design, video production, digital marketing, coalition management and research and analysis.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck served as legal advisor to Clarion. BrightTower served as financial advisor and Williams & Connolly served as legal advisor to Narrative Strategies.
