Fidelio raises over €1bn for third flagship fund

Fidelio Capital has closed its third flagship fund (Fidelio III), with total capital commitments in excess of the fund’s €1 billion target, more than triple the size of its predecessor fund, Fidelio II, which closed in 2018. 

Buyout funds remain buoyant as uncertainties persist

Buyout funds continued to display resilient performance during a turbulent Q1 of 2023, according to research by Neuberger Berman, with small and mid-cap buyout funds, the largest asset class in the sample, up approximately 3% on average over the quarter.

Oaktree closes life sciences lending fund at $2.3bn

Oaktree Capital Management has held the close of its Life Sciences Lending Fund – its first dedicated life sciences fund – and related vehicles, oversubscribed with total capital commitments in excess of $2.3 billion. 

Stone-Goff Partners closes Fund IV at $175m

Stone-Goff Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on tech-driven B2B service companies, has held the final closing of Stone-Goff Partners IV at $175 million, having secured significant increases in commitments from existing investors as well new institutional investors. 

Harmonix launches fundraising for Fund III

Harmonix Management, a venture capital investment firm focused on investments in science-driven startups, has launched fundraising for its third fund, which will will continue the firm’s strategy of focusing on healthcare, life sciences, and deep tech investments.

NEA Partners holds first closing of NEA III

NEA Partners has completed the first closing of its third fund, NEA III, with SEK730 million (£53.28m) in capital commitments from around 100 Swedish entrepreneurs and investors, as well as institutional capital from actor investor Nordea.
