Turnspire Capital Partners (Turnspire), a special situations-focused private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of the Goodyear air springs business from EnPro Industries.  Goodyear Air Springs is the first acquisition of Infinity Engineered Products, a new platform formed by Turnspire.   Goodyear Air Springs, headquartered in Fairlawn, Ohio, is a leading provider of premium air springs for trucks, trailers, buses, and specialty vehicles, and is a preferred partner to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and trucking fleets globally. M Squared, a photonics and quantum technology developer, has secured GBP32.5 million in new financing to support its growth and technology developments.   Santander UK will be providing a GBP20 million debt facility, allowing M Squared’s founders and management team, led by Dr Graeme Malcolm OBE, to fund the acquisition of the substantial part of BGF’s current shareholding along with fuelling the next stage in business and technological growth. Private investment firm GI Partners has acquired Valet Living, a full-service amenities provider to the multifamily housing industry.  GI Partners acquired Valet Living from a fund managed by the Private Equity Group of Ares Management Corporation and Harvest Partners, LP.   Valet Living pioneered the doorstep waste and recycling industry and has broadened its service offering to include turns, maintenance, pet solutions, fitness, and other app-enabled resident services. Founded in 1995 and based in Tampa, Florida, Valet Living has achieved double-digit organic growth every year since its inception and currently performs more than 415 million service events annually across 1.6

Reckitt Benckiser’s venture arm RB Ventures has backed laundry and dry-cleaning startup Oxwash, which provides laundry services to the Oxford University coronavirus vaccine trial. RB Ventures is partnering with early-stage start-ups who share its ‘fight for access’, with Oxwash being one of its first investments. Founded in 2017 by former NASA scientist Kyle Grant, Oxwash is using technology and methods that are aiming towards net zero carbon emissions. YFM Equity Partners (YFM) has boosted its growing portfolio of high-growth technology businesses with an investment into marketing automation platform, Force24. Force24 is a cloud-based marketing automation platform that allows an in-house marketing manager to deliver personalised marketing campaigns with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) integration. The platform is already trusted by a number of  household brands including Michelin, Tarmac and BBC Children in Need, to deliver over 900 million marketing emails so far this year, and the business saw turnover leap by 40 per cent from 2018 to 2019, with revenues expected to reach over GBP3.5 million this year despite

European private equity firm PAI Partjers has acquired a majority stake in Euro Ethnic Foods (EEF), the company which owns and operates the grocery section of leading food retailer Grand Frais. PAI will hold a 60 per cent stake in EEF with the company’s founders Léo & Patrick Bahadourian continuing to own the remaining 40 per cent of the business.
