Nuvei, a global payment technology provider, has completed a USD270 million (CAD358 million) common equity financing, valuing the company at USD2 billion (CAD2.65 billion). The investment comes primarily from Nuvei’s existing shareholders: leading Canadian private equity firm Novacap, supported by some of its key limited partners, and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), one of the largest Canadian institutional investors. A partnership between Signature Capital and PGIM Real Estate has acquired the Arrow Portfolio in Berlin from Patrizia AG as a share deal. The portfolio comprises four office properties in Berlin’s central districts of Mitte and Kreuzberg, with a total area of circa 32,000 square metres, as well as an additional fully permitted development of circa 8,500 square metres. Proof of Impact (POI) has  closed its first institutional investment round led by Franklin Templeton. Proof of Impact is building a global marketplace on the blockchain where one can donate or invest directly into measurable impact outcomes. International law firm Ashurst advised long-standing client Agilitas Private Equity on the sale of Norway-based property remediation and environmental services specialist Recover Nordic to EQT Partners. The deal gives the company an enterprise value of NOK3 billion (GBP248 million).
