Herkules Private Equity Fund III is to sell Gothia Financial Group to arvato, a business process outsourcing provider owned by Bertelsmann SE & Co. Gothia is a European credit management solutions provider.
Herkules Private Equity Fund III acquired Gothia in 2008. During Herkules’ ownership the company has been transformed into having state of the art routines, reporting and internal processes. Furthermore, Gothia has driven significant top line growth with revenues more than doubling in the period. KKR Asset Management has entered into an agreement with Uralita and its subsidiary, URSA Insulation, to provide a EUR320m seven-year facility to repay current lenders – both banks and noteholders – and to develop URSA’s pan-European insulation business.
The investment has been made through investment funds managed by KAM’s special situations business.

Affiliates of Apollo Global Management and Double Eagle Energy have formed a partnership to invest in oil and gas properties in Oklahoma, with a primary focus on the Anadarko and Ardmore Basins.

The First Reserve Energy Infrastructure Fund (FREIF I) and Renovalia Energy have expanded their Renovalia Reserve joint venture with the addition of two wind power plants in Southern Mexico.
The investments diversify the Renovalia Reserve portfolio beyond Europe into North America and nearly double the power capacity of the wind farm assets worldwide. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Datalogix has closed a USD25m Series B round of equity financing led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP).
IVP joins existing investors General Catalyst, Sequel Venture Partners and Costanoa Venture Capital.
The financing will enable Datalogix to continue its rapid growth and accelerate adoption of its audience and measurement solutions across display, mobile, video, social and search channels. This will include investment in scaling its industry leading technology platform and geographic expansion.

Following approval from the French financial markets regulator (Autorité des Marchés Financiers or AMF), ACG Group has completed its acquisition of Groupama Private Equity with Groupama changing its name to ACG Capital as a result of the transaction.
The acquisition encompasses Quartilium’s funds of funds business (EUR1.4bn under management) and the mezzanine fund ActoMezz (EUR220m).
