Private equity firm BC Partners has revived plans to list German academic publisher Springer Nature at a valuation of up to €9bn, including debt, amid improving sentiment for initial public offerings, according to a report by Reuters.
Bluepeak, a provider of fibre broadband to residential and commercial customers in communities across the US and Canada’s Great Plains region, has secured an investment from funds managed by Ares Management’s infrastructure opportunities and alternative credit strategies.
Adenia Partners, a private equity firm focused on growth opportunities in Africa, has acquired 100% of The Courier Guy, a specialist in last-mile delivery and express parcel services in South Africa, alongside co-investors DEG, Proparco, and South Suez.
Park Square Capital has completed the sale of Terreal, a European manufacturer of clay roof tiles and components, to Wienerberger, an Austrian listed building materials company.
LDC, a private equity investor which is part of Lloyds Banking Group, has invested in 15below, a specialist software developer, as part of a five-year growth strategy which will include investment and support to further develop proprietary technology to support existing and new clients. 
NVM Private Equity has acquired Vegetarian Express, a UK distributor of plant-based ingredients to the foodservice sector, from sustainable and impact investor Bridges Fund Management. The investment will help fund the business’s expansion into Ireland, enhance its operational capabilities, support its customer base and strengthen its digital offering.
Middle market private equity firm Gryphon Investors has completed the sale of RoC Skincare to Bridgepoint Europe VII, a fund focused on investing in mid-market growth businesses. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
British private equity firm TDR Capital will take a majority stake in Jollyes, one of Britain’s largest privately owned pet food retailers, with previous owner Kester Capital subsequently notching a 4.2× return and an IRR of 29% on its exit from the business.  
Private investment firm Arlington Capital Partners has completed its sale of J&J Worldwide Services, a provider of engineering services, base support operations and facilities maintenance for the US federal government to CBRE in a deal worth up to $1.05bn.
Mill Point Capital, a private equity firm focused on control investments in North American mid-market companies across the business services, industrials and IT services sectors, has sold Prime Pensions, a US provider of retirement plan compliance and administration services.
