Following the recently announced €210 million final close of Alantra’s Energy Transition Fund (Klima), the funds has led a Series B financing round in Enmacc, one of Europe’s largest over-the-counter (OTC) energy trading platform with over 450 customers.  The financing round, the first in Germany for Klima, also included the participation of Chevron Technology Ventures. The investment in Enmacc represents the fourth investment completed by The Fund and follows the commitment in Swedish decentralised integrated solar company Sunroof, announced on 13 September. Fintech SaaS provider Toqio has closed a €20 million Series A funding round led by AlbionVC, with participation from Aldea Ventures, as well as previous investors Seaya, Speedinvest, SIX FinTech Ventures, and angel investors, including Leandro Sigman, Board Member at Endeavor Spain. The €20 million in funding includes a €1.3 million grant from The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) a public organisation for technology development in Spain.  Toqio is aiming to become the platform choice for creating new fintech solutions. Caymus Equity Partners (Caymus Equity) has acquired IT staffing platform Seneca Resources (Seneca), its third staffing sector investment and the second investment from Caymus Equity Partners Fund II. Founded in 2010, and led by Rob Persiano, the Seneca Resources services a nationwide customer base and focuses on the delivery of difficult top-tier technology talent capable of addressing complex IT and engineering workforce needs. Seneca’s deep bench of high-end IT consultants has resulted in tenured relationships with numerous notable clients spanning industries including Government, Healthcare, and Financial Services.  Caymus Equity’s investment provides Seneca with the capital support necessary to continue expansion
Copper Street Capital, a private equity investor focused on the European financial services sector, has divested its minority stake in Italian mobile payments service, Satispay. The mobile payment service, launched in 2015, simplifies every-day payments for consumers and cuts transaction fees for retailers, helping them transition to mobile payments.   Copper Street invested in Satispay in 2018 and since then, the company has achieved an exceptional growth, reaching 3,000,000 consumers and 200,000 merchants, representing an increase of 800% and 450% respectively since the investment. Concert Golf Partners (Concert Golf or CGP) has received a strategic investment from Centroid Investment Partners (Centroid), a Seoul-based private equity firm and the owner of TaylorMade Golf Company (TaylorMade).  Centroid joins Clearlake Capital Group (Clearlake) and management as investors in Concert Golf, a boutique owner-operator of private golf and country clubs focused on providing premium lifestyle offerings and amenities for its members.  Financial terms of the transaction have not disclosed.   Clearlake originally invested in Concert Golf in partnership with the founding management team in April 2022. Prescott’s, a leading provider of refurbishment, maintenance, repair and service work for surgical microscopes utilised in hospital operating rooms and ambulatory surgery centres and a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital (ASC), has expanded into the medical and laboratory steriliser and washer specialty service and support sector with the acquisition of Preventive Maintenance Medical (PMM). Mid-market private equity firm One Equity Partners has completed its acquisition of healthcare staffing services provider Prime Time Healthcare. Founded in 2012, Prime Time specialises in travel nursing. It provides placement services for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and Allied Health clinicians to 8500 healthcare facilities across the US. Hot cloud storage company Wasabi Technologies has secured $250 million in new funding bringing its valuation to over $1.1 billion. The fresh commitments include a series D equity led by L2 Point Management with participation from Cedar Pine; an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management; and returning investors including Fidelity Management & Research Company and Forestay Capital. IK Partners’ (IK) IK Small Cap III Fund has acquired a significant minority stake in Remazing, a marketing services and software provider focused on the Amazon marketplace.  IK is investing from its dedicated pool of Development Capital, acquiring its stake from the founders who are reinvesting alongside IK.   Remazing was founded in 2016 by Hannes Detjen and Emil Beck and was developed to serve the growing demand from consumer brands to market their products directly on Amazon.
