Eurazeo’s Small-Mid Buyout team has signed an agreement to invest in WiiSmile alongside the company’s management team, led by Sylvain Bianchini, Brice Bonnaigue and Jérôme Bourdon.
Global alternative investment manager CVC, via the CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII, is to acquire Visma’s IT consulting business, which focusses on digital transformation.
The business has been a part of the Visma Custom Solutions division and is a provider of mission-critical IT solutions and data-driven technologies, powered by 2,000 highly skilled professionals across the Nordic region and in Lithuania, and serving 8,000 customers in the private and public sector.
CVC has been active in the Nordic markets for more than 20 years, successfully partnering with numerous companies in the region.
Financial terms of the transaction gave not been disclosed.
US technology and engineering corporation KBR is to acquire Chiltern-Capital-backed VIMA Group for up to £75 million.
BaltCap Baltic Investment Fund III sells INTRAC Group, a distributor of machinery for forestry, construction, agriculture and industry in the Baltics, to United Partners Investments (UPI), a Baltic investment company.
As a result of the transaction, UPI will acquire 100% of INTRAC Group, including shares of Nalka Invest and minority shareholders.
The transaction value and other details have not been disclosed. Completion of the deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
Atlantic BidCo GmbH, a non-controlled company indirectly held by funds which are respectively managed and advised by Advent International Corporation (Advent), Centerbridge Partners (Centerbridge), and CPP Investment Board Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), has secured 83.8% of shares in its voluntary public takeover of Aareal Bank AG (Aareal Bank), following the end of the additional acceptance period.

Zoovu, an AI-powered discovery experience platform for B2B and B2C e-commerce, has raised $169 million in a Series C funding roundled by FTV Capital, a sector-focused growth equity investor in enterprise technology and services businesses.
Zoovu will use the new funding to build out its go-to-market strategy and team, particularly in the United States, and strengthen its data-driven product platform to fuel a better e-commerce experience as it continues to empower businesses to help buyers discover products and make purchase decisions.

Northlane Capital Partners (NCP) has made an investment in Infobase, a provider of cloud-based educational solutions, integrating content, tools, and technology to foster lifelong learning and deliver interactive learning experiences.
NCP invested in partnership with the Infobase management team, led by CEO Paul Skordilis.
Headquartered in New York, Infobase curates high-value content and uses its software platforms to deliver that content to students, educators, librarians, corporations, and parents. Its products are targeted primarily to the K-12 and higher education markets.
Q-Bot, a UK developer of robots for use in the construction and retrofit industry, has successfully closed a £1.6m investment led by EMV Capital, to fund the next stage of its growth.
Parent company NetScientific PLC and other existing investors also participated in the round.
The additional funds will allow Q-Bot to accelerate the rollout of its unique solution of remotely applying underfloor insulation across the UK and engage with growing overseas demand for Q-Bot’s solution.

Logistics payments and data infrastructure platform PayCargo has secured a new investment of up to $130 million from funds managed by Blackstone Growth (BXG).

Private equity investor The Riverside Company has acquired a majority stake in Montel AS (Montel), a founder and manager owned, Norwegian provider of energy and electricity market information.
Montel, headquartered in Oslo, is a niche market leader with an international footprint, providing energy and electricity market information for energy producers, grid operators, financial institutions, trading firms and industrial end-users. The company’s services are primarily delivered through its proprietary Montel Online platform on a subscription basis, covering energy market news and real-time and historical trading data.
Closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
