Global Blue Group Holding has completed an investment agreement with CK Opportunities Wolverine (CK Opportunities), an investment fund co-managed by Certares Opportunities LLC (Certares), a global travel, tourism and hospitality investment firm, and Knighthead Opportunities Capital Management (Knighthead), a credit investment management firm.
Under the terms of the agreement, CK Opportunities has agreed to invest $225 million, of which $180 million is for Series B preferred shares and $45 million is for common shares.
Global Blue intends to use the funds to continue pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions.
Keensight Capital, a private equity manager dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments, has invested in CatSci Ltd, a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) supporting top tier global pharmaceutical companies around the world.
Keensight Capital will invest alongside the founders, senior management, and employees.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, CatSci was formed in December 2010 from a spin-out of AstraZeneca’s Catalyst Screening Facility by five founders, including current co-owners Dr Ross Burn and Dr Simon Tyler, now CEO and COO, respectively.
Eranovum, a Spanish group dedicated to accelerating the energy transition, has secured a €26.5 million capital injection from Keystone, an investment fund specialised in the infrastructure and energy sector, to create one of the largest electric vehicle charging networks in Spain.
The transaction will be carried out in two tranches, the first of which has already been closed for €11.5 million. By means of this transaction, the international fund has acquired a 30% stake in the share capital of Eranovum e-mobility, the electric mobility subsidiary of the Eranovum Group. Turntide Technologies (Turntide), a developer of breakthrough electrification and sustainable operations technologies, has secured $80 million in equity funding, valuing the company at over $1 billion, making it one of a handful of climate tech companies to achieve unicorn status in the first half of 2022.
Participation in the round includes new investments from OGCI Climate Investments (OGCI CI) and SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust (SEEIT), with follow-on investments from Fifth Wall and Meson Capital’s Captain Planet LP fund.
This funding brings the total amount of capital raised to $485 million.

Apex Group is to acquire ZASMalta (ZAS), a specialist provider of regulatory compliance and risk management services.
Mid-market private equity investor AnaCap Financial Partners (AnaCap) has signed an agreement with Nets, part of Nexi Group, for the acquisition of its pan-Nordic digital invoice distribution platform and bill payment solutions business EDIGard.
EDIGard is headquartered in Norway and operates across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, UK and Germany. It comprises the EdiEX branded platform and is part of Nets Issuer & eSecurity Services umbrella.
The decision to sell EDIGard resulted from a strategic review of the Nexi Group’s perimeter following the completion of the mergers with Nets and SIA.
Private equity investment firm Sverica Capital Management (Sverica) has made a strategic investment in SG Homecare.
Founded in 2001, SG Homecare is a provider of durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) to home-based patients throughout the California market.
The Company provides a full suite of DMEPOS products and services, enabling SG to be a one-stop-shop.
Rayon, a specialist in space design software has raised $2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Seedcamp.
Foundamental, 20VC, and Kima also participated in the round alongside a cohort of business angels including, Ralph Gootee, co-founder of plangrid (acquired by Autodesk); Joe Thomas co-founder and CEO of Loom; Thibaud Elziere and Quentin Nickmans founders of eFounders; Nicolas Steegmann co-founder of Stupeflix; Riggs Kubiak founder of Honest buildings (acquired by Procore); Jonathan Widawski founder & CEO of Maze, as well as many others.

KEO World Inc, a B2B Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) fintech, has closed a $20 million growth equity round led by Montreux Growth Partners.
Additional funding wasprovided by Mayberry Investments and Avior alongside a debt facility from Hayfin Capital Management.
With this investment, KEO World will fuel the growth of its Workeo small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) inventory financing program across the USA and LATAM.
AMILI, a Singapore-based precision gut microbiome company, has raised $10.5 million in a Series A funding led by Vulcan Capital, the investment arm of the late Microsoft Corp co-founder Paul Allen.
Other new investors include Pruksa Group, TVM Capital Healthcare, Emtek Group, Capital Code, Pureland Group, Blue7 and SEEDS Capital, the investment arm of Enterprise Singapore.
GK Goh and other existing investors also participated in the round.
The funds raised will be used to accelerate microbiome research partnerships and discovery, develop AMILI PRIME and deepen AMILI’s presence in Southeast Asia initially and the rest of Asia subsequently.
