Private Equity company Bluewater has sold its interest in AXESS Networks (AXESS), having rapidly grown the business in its two and a half years of ownership.
AXESS delivers international satellite connectivity solutions to corporations across the globe, many of which are often in hard-to-reach places where traditional sources of connectivity such as fibre and broadband are not available.
The sale of AXESS marks another successful exit by Bluewater from one of its portfolio businesses. It is also the first sale of a company in its Fund II.

Alpha Development, a specialist financial training provider, has secured substantial investment from BGF.
The investment will support Alpha’s current growth plans, including further expansion into the United States, enhancement of Alpha’s product and go-to-market strategy.

The North East Development Capital Fund (NEDCF), supported by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven), and Gresham House Ventures (GHV), has completed a GBP3 million funding round for RevLifter, an AI-powered technology platform that enables brands to achieve their eCommerce goals through personalised deals and content.
The transaction is split evenly between NEDCF and GHV.

FlapKap, a company focused on e-commerce and SaaS growth in the MEA region, has completed a USD1.2 million funding round led by A15, a MENA venture capital firm, and one of the most prominent backers of early-stage start-ups in the region.

Decentriq, a Swiss enterprise SaaS platform providing the most secure and compliant data clean rooms, has closed a USD15 million Series A funding round led by Eclipse Ventures.
Existing investors Atlantic Labs, btov Partners, and Paladin Capital Group also participated in the round.
Decentriq will use the investment to further accelerate the development and commercialisation of its data clean rooms based on AI, state-of-the-art encryption and privacy-enhancing technologies (PET).

Lawyers from Carey Olsen’s corporate and investment funds practice in Jersey have acted for Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund LP and Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund II LP (the Jersey Funds) in relation to a proposed sale by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group LLC (Fortress) of Fortress’ equity interests in those funds to Chorus Aviation Inc (Chorus).
The sale, which is valued at approximately USD855 million (including debt and cash assumed), includes Falko’s asset management platform and equity interests in 126 owned and managed regional aircraft.

Innova Capital, a private equity firm focused on Central Europe, has entered into a binding agreement with Recticel to sell is 100 per cent stake in Trimo for an enterprise value of EUR164 million.
Saphyre, Inc, a FinTech company that leverages patented AI technology to structure all pre-trade data while eliminating post-trade inefficiencies, has completed a USD18.7 million Series A round led by HCAP Partners.
JP Morgan and BNP Paribas also participated in the round.
Terms of the investment have not been disclosed.
Saphyre’s AI-powered platform enables direct collaboration between multiple financial parties related to the same client. The platform digitises all pre-trade data and documents, eliminating redundant manual processes and allowing for secure, expedited access to data throughout the trade lifecycle.

ME+EM, a UK direct-to-consumer luxury fashion brand, has raised GBP55 million from investors led by Highland Europe.
Having seen triple digit revenue growth globally the highly profitable brand will accelerate expansion in the US, followed by continental Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
