New Era ADR, a technology company focused on the USD250 billion litigation and dispute resolution industry, has closed an oversubscribed USD4.6 million seed funding round.
The financing is led by New York and Boston-based Nextview Ventures with participation from Jump Capital.
The company’s original pre-seed investors, Motivate Ventures and Alumni Ventures, also participated in this round along with entrepreneurs and investors David Kalt, Sean Chou, Pete Kadens, and Lon Chow. This latest round of financing brings the company’s total funding to USD6.3 million – all of it raised in the past year.
Mayfair Capital Partners (Mayfair), a division of Oxford Financial Group (Oxford), on behalf of its underlying investors, has acquired Tile Redi Holdings (Tile Redi).
Terms of the investment, which closed on 28 February, 2022, have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tile Redi manufactures highly-engineered, patented shower product solutions. The Company is a market leader in one-piece, customisable shower pans that are leak-proof, easy to install and UL certified.

Cosmetic Solutions (Cosmetic Solutions), an innovation partner for turnkey private label skin care, custom formulation, and contract manufacturing, has acquired New Mexico-based Private Label Select (PLS), an organic cosmetics and personal care manufacturer.
PLS President Micah Halpert brings his organic and natural product development expertise to his new role as Vice President of Business Development for Cosmetic Solutions.
Financial terms of the transaction, which sees funds managed by Lee Equity Partners invest in Cosmetic Solutions, have not been disclosed.

IMB Partners (IMB), a middle market private equity firm specialising in utility and government agency services, has agreed to make a strategic investment in Carr & Duff (C&D), a southeastern Pennsylvania corporation providing specialty electrical construction services.
Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
IMB and its principals have invested over USD800 million of capital in over 30 platform and add-on investments, setting itself apart through its differentiated value creation process and emphasis on valuing partnership and people first. EQT AB is to acquire Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA), a private markets investment firm in Asia with EUR17.7 billion of assets under management (AUM).
The total consideration for the the transaction is EUR8.6 billion, consisting of USD191.2 million new ordinary EQT shares, valued at EUR5.3 billion, plus EUR1.5 billion in cash
The combination with BPEA, a Pan-Asian private markets firm, provides a step-change to EQT’s presence in Asia, and ideally positions EQT to execute on the structural growth opportunity in Asian private markets.

ConsenSys has closed a USD450 million financing round, bringing its valuation to over USD7 billion. ParaFi Capital led this raise after participating in ConsenSys’ Series C round in November 2021.
New investors, including Temasek, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Microsoft, Anthos Capital, Sound Ventures, and C Ventures also participated, along with Series C investors Third Point, Marshall Wace, TRUE Capital Management, and UTA VC, United Talent Agency’s venture fund.

IsoTruss, an engineering, design, and manufacturing services provider, has raised USD4.5 million in a Series A funding round led by the SG Koenig Trust.
The funds will be used to scale up operations and accelerate production of patented IsoTrust carbon fibre cell towers in support of 5G rollout by telecom infrastructure providers. 5G is forecast to cover approximately 60 per cent of the world’s population in 2026.
The fundraising follows a USD3 million seed investment round led by the Sojitz Corporation of Japan in October 2020.
ConnectionPoint Systems Inc, a platform for collaborative funding, has raised USD1.5 million for the launch of CoCoPay, the first community-centric healthcare payment solution that tackles the issue of quality care affordability.
CoCoPay helps healthcare providers mitigate this by enabling a patient’s community of friends and family to contribute toward the cost of the medical bill. Healthcare providers add CoCoPay as a supported payment option and all funds raised from the community are paid directly to them for full accountability.
