EMV Capital (EMVC) invested in Cambridge-based proposed deeptech early-stage investor Martlet Capital, alongside private office Saranac Partners and other investors. The investment enables Martlet Capital to complete the acquisition of a portfolio of 50-plus minority positions from Marshall Group, including companies in life science, healthcare, cleantech sustainability, industrial and semi-conductor technology. In accordance with a shareholders’ agreement entered into on 10 August 2020, Amber Capital (on behalf of the funds it manages) has informed Vivendi of its intention to sell all of its Lagardère shares to enable Vivendi to exercise, as the case may be, its right of first offer in accordance with the agreement.
