Tide, the UK’s leading business financial platform, has received just over USD100 million in Series C funding, bringing the company’s total raised to date to USD200 million. Tide is now valued at over USD650 million post-money, after only four years of operation.
The round was led by funds advised by Apax Digital, the growth equity team of Apax Partners. Anthemis, Augmentum, Jigsaw, Local Globe/Latitude, SBI, and SpeedInvest, existing investors, also participated in the round.
Tide has experienced rapid and sustained growth since launching in 2017, with 2020 seeing the business more than double its user base in the UK.
MRH Trowe an owner managed commercial lines insurance broker in Germany and a portfolio company of tech-focused mid-market private equity investor AnaCap Financial Partners, has successfully completed four bolt-on acquisitions in quick succession, following three earlier this year.

KPS Capital Partners (KPS) announced today that it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement with Tate & Lyle PLC (“Tate & Lyle”) (LSE: TATE.L) to acquire a controlling stake in its Primary Products business in North America and Latin America and its interests in the Almidones Mexicanos SA de CV and DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio-Products Company, LLC joint ventures, through a newly formed company (NewCo), for an enterprise value of USD1.7 billion.
KPS and Tate & Lyle, through affiliates, will each own approximately 50 per cent of NewCo with KPS having Board of Directors and operational control. Completion
Eurazeo’s Small-Mid Buyout team is to sell in majority stake in Intech, a global market leader in the manufacturing and development of orthopaedic surgical instruments, to Montagu Private Equity.
The proposed sale is subject to US competition authority approval.

EQT Infrastructure has agreed to acquire Meine Radiologie Holding (Meine Radiologie) from Triton Partners and Blikk Holding (Blikk) from DBAG Fund VII, a private equity fund advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG).
