StorCentric, a newly formed customer-centric storage solutions company, is to acquire Drobo, a prosumer and SMB storage solution provider, and Nexsan, a specialist in enterprise storage solutions.
Following the acquisitions, StorCentric will have a combined track record of over 450,000 storage products sold to individuals, SMBs and enterprise customers, and will have received over 100 awards for excellence in the storage industry. Based in Brockville, Ontario, Trillium has built a reputation in the pharmaceutical industry for its focus on quality and technical expertise in short and medium production runs across three dosage forms: liquid, solid and semi-solid. The Nigerian Agricultural Bank, Bank of Agriculture and the African electricity supplier Daystar Power have entered into a comprehensive cooperation to provide rural electrification in Nigeria.
The cooperation includes the supply of solar power to the bank branches as well as a concept for the supply of electricity to rural areas of the country. Since 1972, the Bank of Agriculture has been Nigeria’s leading financial institution committed to rural development. Daystar Power is a founding partner of the Africa Venture Builder Sunray Ventures.

SDC Capital Partners (SDC), a specialised private equity firm focused on the IT and communications infrastructure sectors, has held the final close of its inaugural fund, SDC Digital Infrastructure Opportunity Fund I, at its hard cap of USD400 million.
The Fund was oversubscribed and materially exceeded its original USD300 million target.
The Fund will seek to leverage SDC’s deep sector-specific experience to make value-add investments across the digital infrastructure sector. SDC has already made three investments from the Fund, most recently through the acquisition of a 280-acre data centre development site in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Noerr has advised the fintech company Deposit Solutions on a USD100 million investment round with Vitruvian, Kinnevik and existing shareholders.
Besides the main investor Vitruvian Partners, Kinnevik and existing shareholders such as e.ventures were also involved. Due to this financing round, the valuation of Deposit Solutions has increased to USD500 million.
Deposit Solutions operates the world’s first open banking platform for savings deposits and works with over 70 partner banks in 16 countries, including Deutsche Bank and the Fidelity subsidiary FFB.
