Aerin Medical Inc, a company dedicated to providing ear, nose and throat (ENT) physicians with non-invasive solutions for the treatment of chronic nasal conditions, has closed a $60 million equity financing. The financing was led by new investor Ally Bridge Group, with all existing major investors KCK MedTech, Questa Capital and OrbiMed also participating.  The company intends to use the proceeds to scale commercialisation and expand market access to meet the demand from physicians and their patients. As part of the deal, Ally Bridge Group managing director Kevin Reilly has joined Aerin Medical’s Board of Directors.
LGT Capital Partners has held the final close of Crown Impact, its first impact-focused private equity investment fund, at USD550 million, significantly above its initial target size of USD 350 million due to strong investor demand and a growing investment opportunity set. Crown Impact invests in highly impactful companies across three core impact themes: climate action, inclusive growth and healthcare. The fund focuses on co-investments alongside leading conventional and impact managers, complementing the portfolio with impact primary and secondary fund investments. True Global Ventures 4 Plus (TGV4 Plus) Fund has held the first close of its new $146m Follow on Fund. The TGV4 Plus Follow on Fund has a group of 15 General Partners (GP), who lead the fund and its Investment Committee, having put more than $62 million of their own money into the fund. This is a total GP commitment of over 40% of the total fund size and equates to over $4 million per GP on average.  The first capital call of the fund has been fully paid in. BlackRock is to establish a perpetual infrastructure strategy that will seek to partner with infrastructure businesses over the long term to help drive the global energy transition. Third Rock Ventures has held the closing of Third Rock Ventures Fund VI, with $1.1 billion in capital commitments. Fund VI will continue Third Rock’s core strategy to discover, launch and build new groundbreaking companies focused on improving the lives of patients.  Third Rock employs a hands-on approach to partnering with founders to build companies and provides early and rigorous integration of science, medicine, business and strategy to build successful companies. To date, Third Rock has raised $3.8 billion and its funds have invested in 60 companies.
Inovia Capital has raised $325 million for its fifth early-stage fund. The fund, which saw strong support from existing and new investors, will back tech-focused companies in their aspiration to become category leaders.  The closing brings Inovia’s total capital under management to $2.2 billion.
Project A Ventures, one of the leading early-stage tech investors in Europe, has closed its fourth fund with $375 million in capital commitments. The new fund, Project A’s largest top date, which will invest from pre-seed to Series A in the most promising founders across the continent, brings the company’s total assets under management to $1 billion.
Good Growth Capital, a majority women- and minority-managed venture capital firm, has closed its oversubscribed third fund, Good Growth Capital General Fund II (General Fund II”, with more than $100 million, which will be deployed in Seed through Series B investments. Triago acted as exclusive global placement agent for the fund. General Fund II, similar to prior Good Growth Capital investment vehicles, will be dedicated to investing in data science, biomed tech, green tech, and other hard science industries. 
Sequoia Capital, a venture capital and growth investment firm, has launched its first dedicated Southeast Asia fund – Sequoia SEA Fund I, according to a report by VCCircle. The $850 million vehicle will finance entrepreneurs across the Southeast Asia region including India. Sequoia has invested in over 400 startups across India and Southeast Asia, with 36 of them valued at more than $1 billion, including Byju’s, Meesho and Freshworks.
Glade Brook Capital Partners (Glade Brook), a global growth equity investment firm, has held the final closing of Glade Brook Strategic Growth III (SG III), an oversubscribed $430 million fund focused on growth equity investments at the Series B and C stages.
