Global investment firm KKR has held the final close of KKR Asia Credit Opportunities Fund (ACOF), a $1.1 billion fund focused on performing privately originated credit investments in Asia Pacific.
KKR’s Asia Credit platform seeks to provide bespoke private credit solutions to companies and sponsors which harness the strength of KKR’s alternative investment capabilities and its expertise as one of the largest alternative credit managers globally. The Asia Credit team leverages KKR’s local and global resources to source, diligence, and execute investment opportunities to provide customised financing, ensure capital protections, and support value creation in the process.

Angelo Gordon, a $50 billion alternative investment firm focused on credit and real estate investing, has held the final close of the AG Credit Solutions Fund II at $3.1 billion of equity commitments, exceeding the fund’s $3.0 billion target in seven months from the initial to final close.
The Fund received significant support from current Angelo Gordon clients and new institutional and retail investors globally.
The closed-end Fund is the latest in a series of vehicles raised over the last three years that comprise a now $11 billion all-weather distressed and special situations platform. Consistent with its predecessor, the Fund’s
AfricInvest, an investment platform active in multiple alternative asset classes including private equity, venture capital, private credit and listed equities, has held the final close of AfricInvest Fund IV with total commitments of $411 million.
Launched two years ago with a hard cap of $400 million, AfricInvest IV received investment from new and returning institutional investors, development finance institutions and family offices from around the world. The Fund is the largest in AfricInvest’s history and follows on from the previous flagship fund, AfricInvest III, which closed in 2016, reaching a fund size of €272 million (US$300m).

Global private equity investor Advent International (Advent) has completed fundraising for its flagship fund, Advent International GPE X. The Fund reached its hard cap of $25 billion (€22.1 billion) in commitments after less than six months in the market.

Canadian venture capital firm Round13 has launched a new fund dedicated to investing in the emerging blockchain and digital assets market.
The fund, which has raised $70 million to date and is targeting $100 million, is operated by Managing Partners and blockchain/digital asset market veterans, Satraj Bambra and Khaled Verjee.
The lead investor is a major Canadian pension fund, with additional participation from institutions, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and members of the Round13 team. The fund is also partnered with Satstreet, one of Canada’s fastest growing digital investment firms with a deep network of relationships in the crypto universe.
Stellus Capital Management, a specialist in middle market direct lending, has held the final close of Stellus Credit Fund III (SCF III) with approximately $1.8 billion on investable capital, including target leverage, capital commitments to SCF III, investor-specific vehicles, and a newly launched private Business Development Company (Stellus Private Credit BDC (SPBDC).
SCF III, the successor to Stellus Credit Fund II (a $478 million fund closed in September 2018), has already invested in 36 portfolio companies.
