Clearlake Capital Group (Clearlake), an investment firm that focuses on technology, industrials, and consumer industries, has completed fundraising for its seventh flagship private equity fund, Clearlake Capital Partners VII (Fund VII), with more than $14.1 billion in commitments. With an initial target of $10 billion, Fund VII reached its hard cap and was significantly oversubscribed including commitments from the General Partner and affiliates.    More than $25 billion in capital has been raised by Clearlake since January 2021, which includes nearly $7 billion raised in four continuation funds. The new fund continues the firm’s commitment to invest globally in companies and teams driving the sustainable future. Yieldstreet, a digital alternative investment platform, has launched its Art Equity Fund IV, which is now accepting investments.
Praetura Ventures has closed its latest EIS Growth Fund taking the total raise by the firm in the last three years to £100 million. Headquartered in London, UK, Lightrock currently has over $3 billion in assets under advice invested in 14 countries across Europe, the USA, Latin America, Asia and Africa.  For the new Latin America fund, Lightrock’s anchor capital provider is LGT Group, one of Europe’s leading financial institutions with $295 billion in assets under management. Flying Fish Partners (Flying Fish) has held the final closing of its second venture fund, Flying Fish Partners II (Fund II) with $70 million in committed capital. Flying Fish invests in the rapidly growing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) sector. Flying Fish makes seed-stage investments in software and mixed hardware and software companies that use AI or ML as foundations to their businesses, provide AI and ML products and services, or provide tools to AI and ML practitioners. Flying Fish has already made 10 investments in Fund II.
Good Growth Capital has closed its oversubscribed third fund at over $100 million in capital commitments. The majority women- and minority-owned firm is known for investing early in complex technologies that are yielding top returns. HSBC Asset Management’s (HSBC AM’s) UK-focused direct lending capability has attracted USD1bn in commitments from institutional investors in its first year. The direct lending strategy was launched in early 2021 as part of the firm’s ambition to grow its alternatives capabilities, which now fall under a single business unit HSBC Alternatives.
