Detroit-based private equity firm Rockbridge Growth Equity has sold Triad Retail Media, a digital retail media advertising firm, to programmatic audience company Xaxis.
Xaxis is a wholly owned operating company of WPP, the world's largest communications services group with offices in 113 countries.
Triad manages and delivers full-service creative, data and production digital media advertising campaigns to connect with shoppers at point-of-sale. Major global retail partners include Walmart, eBay, Toys"R"Us, CVS, Sam's Club, Staples, Kohl's, Asda and more than 1,500 of the world's largest advertisers.

Man Group plc has acquired Aalto Invest Holding AG and launched a new ‘private markets offering’, Man Global Private Markets, designed to offer longer term investments and complement their existing products. Man defines private markets as real estate, credit and infrastructure.
Founded in 2010 by Mikko Syrjänen and Petteri Barman, USD1.7 billion Aalto specialises in the management of real estate equity and debt strategies including direct investments in single family homes in the US and lending to commercial and residential real estate in Europe and the US. AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets has acquired a 958 hectare forest known as “Domaine de Saint Augustin” in the Allier and Cher departments, France, for EUR21.5 million from a private vendor.
The transaction has been undertaken on behalf of an AXA Insurance Company and brings AXA IM – Real Assets’ total forestry assets under management to circa EUR130 million, comprising circa 21,000 hectares.

Monroe Capital has held the final close of Monroe Capital Private Credit Fund II with USD800 million of limited partner commitments, eclipsing the fund’s target of USD600 million.
When combined with target fund leverage, the fund will have approximately USD1.5 billion of total investable capital or buying power, the largest fund raised in Monroe Capital’s 12-year firm history.
The fund invests in private credit transactions originated and underwritten by Monroe Capital.

In the first half of 2016, French private equity firms invested EUR5.5 billion to support and accelerate company growth projects, according to data released by the Association Française des Investisseurs pour la Croissance (AFIC).
This figure is up 47 per cent relative to the first half of 2015 and is above the 2006-2008 annual average.

Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) portfolio company Nord Hydro-Beliy Porog has broken ground on the construction of small hydropower plants on the river Kem in Karelia, Northwest Russia.
The breaking ground ceremony was held in the presence of the Head of the Republic of Karelia Alexander Khudilainen, RDIF executives and its international partners Sinomec, the New Development Bank (NDB) founded by the BRICS countries, and other organisations involved in the project.
The construction of two Beloporozhskaya hydro power plants with a total capacity of 49.8 MW is the NDB’s first project in Russia. As of today, it is the

Following the acquisition of M247, Metronet (UK) will be able to offer a combined portfolio of connectivity and content services including wireless network services, datacentres and managed hosting solutions across the UK and Europe.
The combined business will have EBITDA in excess of GBP12 million, over 200 staff, three data centres and over 13,000 customers.
