Livingbridge, a mid-market private equity investor, has invested in Waste Services Group (WSG), a provider of waste management solutions for Australian businesses.
Led by CEO Matt Tamplin, WSG has demonstrated consistent organic growth and high customer retention driven by its market leading customer service focus. Over the last five years this has been supplemented with strategic acquisitions which have broadened WSG’s service offering and geographic coverage.
The investment marks the fifth investment by Livingbridge Australia since the opening of the firm’s Melbourne office in 2016.

BC Partners Real Estate (BCP RE), the real estate investment arm of BC Partners, has held the final close of its debut fund, BC Partners European Real Estate I (BCPERE I) with total commitments of cEUR900 million for its European value-add investment strategy, significantly exceeding the initial target range of EUR500-700 million.

Tech and consumer growth investor, Mayfair Equity Partners (Mayfair) is to acquire a majority stake in LoopMe Ltd, a mobile brand advertising platform, in a secondary transaction.
As part of the transaction, emerging markets technology investor Da Vinci Capital will sell a significant portion of its holding to Mayfair but will retain a modest stake in the business.
Da Vinci Capital, which invested in LoopMe in March 2021, achieved a significant cash on cash return on its original investment.

Baird Capital’s Global Private Equity team has invested in Subsea Technology & Rentals (STR), an independent subsea rental equipment and specialist services provider to the offshore energy industry.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The funding will allow STR to develop its equipment and service offerings through organic and acquisition-lead growth. The investment will also enable STR to further expand its geographical reach, with the Americas, mainland Europe and Southeast Asia being a key focus for the company, supporting the rapidly growing offshore wind sector.

BGF has invested over GBP165 million in London and the South East in 2021, including 18 new investments, while continuing to provide growth capital and follow-on funding for its existing portfolio.
Palatine-backed Suntera Global has enhanced its presence in the Channel Islands with the acquisition of specialist fiduciary services provider, Nedgroup Trust Limited.
Suntera says the deal strengthens its offering and extends its reach into an additional tier one jurisdiction in Guernsey.

Payflow, a financial wellbeing platform that allows employees to get paid on demand, has closed an EUR8 million financing round to continue its growth in Spain and its internationalisation plans, which have already started in Chile and Colombia.
In 2022, the company plans to start operations in two additional countries and to launch at least two more products.
After closing this round, the total funding raised by Payflow to date exceeds EUR12 million, with the company having previously raised EUR2 million inn a seed round EUR2 million in a debt round.
This new fundraising attracted renowned national and international investors.
