Stellex Capital Management (Stellex), a middle-market private equity firm, has made a new platform investment in plumbing services platform Peltram Plumbing Holdings (P3).
Stellex acquired P3 in partnership with the existing management team from an investor group led by Crescendo Capital Partners (Crescendo). The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
In addition to partnering with the existing local management teams, Stellex has recruited Terry Young, former Senior Vice President of Comfort Systems USA, and Chad Lusco, former Senior Vice President of KBS and Empire Services, to drive P3’s next chapter of growth.
Rotunda Capital Partners (Rotunda), an operationally focused, lower middle-market private equity investment firm, has sold MacQueen Equipment (MacQueen), a distributor of environmental and emergency equipment solutions.
Established in 1961 and headquartered in St Paul, Minnesota, MacQueen is one-stop shop provider of critical environmental, infrastructure and emergency equipment, aftermarket parts and service and safety products and accessories to municipalities, fire departments and commercial customers.
Since partnering with Rotunda in late 2018, the Company has achieved transformational growth. Through seven acquisitions and strategic operational investments, the Company has tripled in size to become a super-regional distributor with 15 locations in 12 states.
Electra.aero (Electra), a developer of hybrid-electric ultra-short takeoff and landing (eSTOL) aircraft, has secured a Series A investment from Lockheed Martin Ventures (LMV), the venture capital arm of Lockheed Martin Corporation.
The funding will support Electra’s plans to begin flight testing a full-scale hybrid eSTOL technology demonstrator aircraft later this year.

Private equity firm Liberty Strategic Capital is to invest USD150 million in Satellogic in connection with its merger with CF Acquisition Corp V (CFV), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald, which will see Satellogic become a publicly traded company.
Satellogic specialises in high-resolution imagery of the Earth’s surface obtained through a constellation of low earth orbit satellites.
CFV was formed as a “blank check” company in January 2020 and completed an IPO in February 2021 at a price of USD10 per unit. In July 2021, CFV and Satellogic announced plans to merge at an implied enterprise
Dream Games, a Turkey-based studio behind the hit mobile game Royal Match, has become one of the most valuable private mobile gaming companies in the world after raising USD255 million from investors at a USD2.75 billion valuation – representing a doubling of the company’s value in six months.
The Series C – the company’s third venture round in the past year – was led by Index Ventures, which has supported Dream Games since Series A. TC is an add-on investment to Riverside’s platform InVita Healthcare Technologies (InVita), which delivers supply chain software solutions to complex medical environments.
Riverside has invested in more than 360 platform and add-on companies in these sectors and possesses a team of industry experts who understand how to grow healthcare companies around the globe. TC is InVita’s third add-on, following Champion Healthcare Technologies in May 2019 and STACS DNA in May 2021.
Appcues has raised USD32.1 million in an oversubscribed Series B funding round led by NewSpring.
The funding will be used to accelerate the company’s rapid product innovation and scale its operations globally.
Columbia Partners also participated in the round, along with existing investors Sierra Ventures and Accomplice. This fundraising brings Appcues’ total funding to USD47.9 million to date.
