Funds managed by IK Investment Partners (IK) are to acquire TCM Group, a leading Scandinavian producer of quality kitchens, from Axcel. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

EcoMachines Ventures is investing alongside two other leading industry players including ABB Technology Ventures (ATV), the corporate venture capital arm of ABB Group based in Zurich. Saar Wilf, PointGrab’s Chairman and first investor, is also participating in this round. This collaborative investment will fuel PointGrab’s expansion into the rapidly growing $30 billion home and building automation market.

Duet Private Equity Group has acquired Abidjan-based ociete Africaine des Produits Laitiers et Derives (SAPLED) from the Sifaoui Group through the creation of Duet Consumer Ivory Coast Holdings (DCICH). The details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Blackstone has held the final close os its latest global private equity fund, Blackstone Capital Partners VII (BCP VII) at USD18 billion.
Fundraising began in November 2014 and the fund had a record USD15.7 billion first close in May, seven months after launching. There are more than 250 limited partners from 40 countries in the fund. Demand for the fund was significantly in excess of its hard cap of USD17.5 billion. Taken together with Blackstone and its employees’ commitment of USD500 million, BCP VII will have USD18 billion of available equity capital to invest. Blackstone expects to begin making investments
