Global tax software provider Sovos has acquired Germany-based TLI Consulting, a specialist in value-added tax (VAT) determination.   TLI Consulting serves businesses whose transaction and tax determination needs are too complex or costly to configure and maintain via native SAP and in-house tax experts. The company’s software solution extends native SAP VAT determination functionality, and its consultants have the integration and implementation expertise to ensure that SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA enterprise resource planning systems can seamlessly determine the right VAT decisions and tax codes for any outbound or inbound transaction.
RA Capital Management has led an oversubscribed USD40,750,000 Series A round of financing in NanoMosaic, the developer of a suite of analyte interrogation technologies which has successfully exported its platform to leading hospitals and institutes. Insight Partners, Pura Vida Investments, Time BioVentures and Tiger Gene also participated in the fundraising.
South Korean video game developer KRAFTON, Inc, maker of the popular battle royale game PUBG, has led a USD11 million Series B Round in Arabic mobile games publisher Tamatem Games.  Venture Souq, Endeavor Catalyst and existing investors also participated.
Private equity manager Keensight Capital is to invest alongside existing management in Buckaroo, an online Payment Service Provider (PSP) based in the Netherlands and Belgium. Keensight Capital will replace Blackfin Capital as majority shareholder alongside the management team led by Paul Scholten.
Headline Asia (formerly known as Infinity Ventures) has led a USD7.5 million Series A funding round in Xen Capital with the investment set to be used to scale Xen’s B2B2C alternative investment platform.  Xen Capital has created an open architecture client management platform for wealth advisors and asset managers, to solve the problem of distribution at scale, and has processed more than USD200 million of transaction volume in private market deals through its platform in the last 12 months.
PraxisIFM Group, a global financial services business listed on The International Stock Exchange (TISE), has received regulatory approval to complete the sale of its Fund Administration division to Sanne Group plc, in an all-cash deal totalling GBP54 million. This follows the original announcement of the sale in July. As part of the terms of the transaction GBP5.5 million of the total consideration will now be held in escrow and is expected to be released in July 2022, subject to certain performance criteria.
Talis Capital has led a USD5.5 million seed funding round in Vinhealth, a digital health platform that improves the quality of life and outcomes of cancer patients, with participation from previous investors Playfair Capital and Ascension.  A number of angels also participated, including Keith Gibbs, former CEO of AXA PPP Healthcare; Pam Garside, partner at Newhealth; VOYAGERS Health-Tech Fund, led by David Rowan, founding editor of WIRED; David Giampaolo, healthcare entrepreneur and founder of PI Capital; Deepali Nangia, venture partner at Speedinvest and Atomico Angel; Faisal Mehmud, Vice President and former Medical Director of Bristol Myers Squibb; and KHP, a
Clessidra Private Equity SGR has acquired Viabizzuno, an Italian company specialising in the production of lighting projects in the premium/high-end sector for retail and residential clients, offices and hospitality, from 21 Invest. Founded by Alessandro Benetton, 21 Invest acquired a controlling stake in Viabizzuno in 2011.   The investment marks the second transaction of Clessidra Capital Partners 4 fund, which held its first closing last June. Mario Nanni (Viabizzuno Style Director), Corrado Colli (CEO), Sebastiano Vasta (COO) and Simone Balsimelli (CFO) will support Clessidra in this transaction through the re-investment of a minority stake in the company and maintaining their
Growth investor Vitruvian Partners has a made a EUR45 million Series C investment in Enfuce, a European Card-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform for modern card issuing and processing.  The new capital will be used to further accelerate growth internationally as well as development of the Company’s technology platform.   Vitruvian Partners has previously invested in several successful financial services and payment companies including most recently Marqeta and TransferWise.
Goodhart Partners (Goodhart), an independent “multi-boutique” asset manager, has, through its Volunteer Park Capital Fund (Volunteer Park), taken a minority stake in Syntaxis, a provider of private credit in Central Europe. Syntaxis’s leadership team has been working together for over 20 years, and the firm is currently investing its third private debt fund, Syntaxis New Europe Fund SCSp.
