Excellere Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm focused on partnering with entrepreneurs and management teams, has completed fundraising for its fourth fund at USD875 million.  The fund was oversubscribed, exceeding its target of USD750 million and closed at the hard cap. Excellere targets recapitalisation partnerships with entrepreneurial companies with primary operations in North America. 
actnano, a specialist in surface protection technologies for automotive and consumer electronics, has closed an oversubscribed SD21.75 million Series B financing led by BMW i Ventures.  UAdditional new investors include HELLA Ventures and TDK Ventures. All Series A investors, including Emerald Technology Ventures, GC Ventures America, Henkel Tech Ventures, Ireon Ventures and Material Impact, also participated in the round. actnano specialises in water and environmental resistant nanocoating technologies. West Sussex-based home furnishing retailer Swyft Home has secured a GBP1 million invoice discounting facility from the alternative funder Growth Lending to support the company’s strong direct-to-consumer sales strategy and drive its business-to-business sales. Founded in 2019, Swyft Home provides sofa-in-a-box deliveries direct to customers within 48 hours of orders being placed. TorQuest Partners (TorQuest) has completed the acquisition of North West Rubber Ltd (NWR), a manufacturer and distributor of recycled and virgin rubber matting and other flooring products. Procare Solutions (Procare), a specialist in child care management solutions, has acquired ChildPlus Software (ChildPlus), a provider of Head Start management software. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.    The transformative acquisition of ChildPlus further expands the breadth of Procare’s solutions and supports the Company’s mission to meet the complete management and parent communication needs of all child care businesses and organisations, including both private pay centres and federally-funded Head Start agencies. European money management app Plum has successfully raised a total of USD24 million from a Series A funding round that will help propel the company’s expansion into Europe and grow its product offerings. The fintech’s first close of funding, announced in October, raised USD14 million and saw notable investment from investors including dmg ventures, Ventura Capital, Global Brain, Venture Friends and 500 Startups. NovaQuest Capital Management (NovaQuest), a biopharma and life sciences investment firm specialising in human and animal health investing, has acquired TechAccel’s ownership stake in Covenant Animal Health Partners (Covenant).  Covenant is a novel product development partnership originally formed by TechAccel and Reliance Animal Health Partners (Reliance) in 2018. FSN Capital’s FSN Capital IV has agreed to sell EET A/S (EET) to funds advised by Pamplona Capital Management. Headquartered in Birkerød, Denmark, EET is a leading value-added distributor of technology products and spare parts in Europe, serving customers across six business lines through operations in 24 countries.
