Stafford Capital Partners (Stafford) has published its inaugural Responsible Investment Report, detailing how it incorporates ESG considerations into its investments and how it engages with external fund managers on topics such as climate change and ESG reporting. An important part of this engagement is an annual manager ESG survey which found that about 50 per cent of managers in Stafford’s portfolio communicate in some way how their portfolio companies or assets contribute or are linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. iCON Infrastructure Partners V1 (iCON V), a fund advised by iCON Infrastructure (iCON), has completed the acquisition of a controlling interest in three German fibre-related businesses, ropa, NGN Telecom, and Wisotel (together the SFN Group). The sale was carried out by companies led by LABcom Investment. The SFN Group is an independent vertically integrated fiber and cable telecoms business based in Germany. The business primarily serves the retail market with a current focus in the regions of Baden Wuerttemberg and Lower Saxony. The group’s networks serve approximately 16,000 customers. BayPine is to acquire Pinnacle Dermatology Management (Pinnacle), a female-founded dermatology management services organisation in the United States.  Pinnacle’s management team, led by Chief Executive Officer Chad A Eckes, Chief Medical Officer and President Dr Jose Rios, and its founder, Dr Paula Lapinski, are partnering with BayPine in the transaction and will continue in their current roles. Chicago Pacific Founders (CPF), the Company’s current financial sponsor, will roll a portion of its ownership in Pinnacle post-closing. Filipino social entertainment platform Kumu has raised a Series C led by General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm with more than 40 years of experience scaling disruptive businesses internationally.
