European credit investment firm AlbaCore Capital Group (AlbaCore), is making a sustainability-linked investment of up to USD200 million in Babylon Holdings Limited (Babylon), one of the world’s fastest-growing digital healthcare companies.
The interest rate on the notes is tied to the delivery of affordable healthcare to under-served populations.
The proceeds will provide Babylon with additional capital ranging from USD100 million to USD200 million of debt, with the investment level to be determined at Babylon’s option upon closing of the merger with Alkuri Global Acquisition Corp. (Alkuri), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company. The merger is expected to close
ClearCourse Partnership (ClearCourse), a group of technology companies providing useful, integrated software solutions, is to acquire TISSL, a supplier of point of sale (POS) solutions to the hospitality industry.
The acquisition strengthens ClearCourse’s offering in these sectors and provides further opportunity for integration of its ClearAccept platform. TISSL will join the Group’s Retail division. Following the deal, TISSL’s Founder Kevin Coetzee will step away from the leadership of the business to retire. He passes the role of Managing Director to Sam Peterson, formerly Finance Director of TISSL.

Summa Equity has signed a definitive agreement to sell Lakers Group Holding (Lakers), an independent aftermarket service provider of water and wastewater pumps to Vestum AB (publ) (Vestum) for a total consideration of approximately SEK2 billion, of which cSEK250 million will be reinvested into Vestum.

Permira, a global private equity firm which backs tech-enabled businesses, has signed an agreement with software investment firm Thoma Bravo, to make a significant strategic investment in Motus, a reimbursement software platform for the anywhere workforce.
As part of the transaction, existing investor Thoma Bravo plans to reinvest and remain a significant investor in Motus. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
