Funds managed by Blackstone Capital Partners have signed a definitive agreement with EQT VII fund (EQT Private Equity) and KHF to acquire a majority stake in VFS Global.
EQT Private Equity will remain indirectly invested in the Company with a minority position alongside Blackstone. Blackstone, as majority shareholder, and KHF, as minority shareholder, will be co-investors in the Company following the closing of the transaction.

Nexteam Group, which is backed by Tikehau Capital and ACE Capital Partners, and Ventana Group are to merge to create an industrial player serving the aeronautics, space and defence sectors.
The new group created, specialising in the aeronautics, space and defence sectors, will be built on its industrial centres of excellence and the commercial and geographical complementarities of the merged entities.

Riskonnect, a specialist in integrated risk management (IRM) solutions, has acquired ICIX, a California-based value chain governance company that empowers businesses to manage, monitor, and verify ESG performance.
The acquisition accelerates Riskonnect’s global growth by expanding its IRM product suite to better serve the increasing risk and compliance demands of the fast-growing ESG market.

Independent Iberian asset manager GED Capital has participated with its fund Conexo Ventures in the USD8 million Series A investment round of Troop, a startup that helps with the organisation of in-person meetings for all users.

Ara Partners (Ara), a private equity firm that specialises in industrial decarbonisation investments, has acquired Fluitron. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Based in Ivyland, Pennsylvania, Fluitron is a specialist in manufacturing industrial gas compression and dispensing equipment, including diaphragm compressors, pressure vessels, and other specialised products. Founded in 1976, Fluitron maintains operations in Ivyland, and sells to customers throughout the world, with its largest presences in the United States, Canada, India, China, Japan, and South Korea. Fluitron’s President, Anthony Chiccarine, and Vice President, Robert Chiccarine, will continue to lead Fluitron under Ara’s ownership.

BB Capital Investments-backed KidsKonnect has acquired Dutch childcare software company ROSA, its fifth bolt-on acquisition in 2021.
ROSA specialises in software for the administration of childcare and childminder. The transaction was preceded by KidsKonnect’s acquisitions of the Dutch childcare software specialists Social Schools, PortaBase and Doenkids and the Belgian Deona.

Ropes & Gray has advised TPG Capital, the private equity platform of alternative asset firm TPG, in its acquisition of a majority stake in Nintex from Thoma Bravo.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2021. Terms of the transaction, which was announced on 5 October, have not been disclosed.
