Hamburg-based real asset specialist Aquila Capital has launched the Aquila Capital Energy Efficiency Strategy, focussing on investments in small to medium sized energy efficiency projects in the private and public sector. The geographical focus will be on Europe. Its first investment, a street lighting project in Italy, been closed in November 2020.  The project’s objective is to replace and operate street lighting systems under long-term concession agreements within a cluster of eight municipalities in central Italy. Ares Australia Management (AAM), a strategic joint venture between Ares Management Corporation (Ares), a global alternative investment manager, and Fidante Partners Limited (Fidante Partners), is launching its second Australian product, the Ares Diversified Credit Fund.The unlisted open-ended Fund presents a novel investment strategy to the Australian managed fund space and provides investors with access to Ares’ leading global credit platform through a vehicle that allows for daily inbound and quarterly outbound liquidity at net asset value (NAV). Bancroft Bridge Fund, a private equity  fund managed by Vienna based Bancroft Private Equity, has sold its stake in Rubik’s Brand Ltd (RBL), the London based company that owns the rights to the world famous Rubik’s Cube, to Spin Master Corp (Spin Master), a global children’s entertainment company.  RBL was established by the founding families of the original Rubik’s business in 2013 to focus exclusively on the Rubik’s Brand. Eurazeo has made an investment in Axel Arigato, a Swedish premium trainer, ready-to-wear and accessories brand, produced in Europe and recognised for its contemporary design, high-quality products and creative brand universe. Eurazeo Brands, the division of Eurazeo focused on differentiated consumer brands, is investing EUR56 million to become a majority shareholder, alongside its Founders Max Svärdh and Albin Johansson. Online mental health platform, Togetherall, has secured USD10 million investment from software and services growth investor, FPE Capital LLP (FPE).  The investment follows Togetherall’s accelerated expansion into the North American market, with a focus on US market growth, as well as continued growth across the UK and Canada into higher education, corporate and health sectors.
