Plug and Play Tech Center, a Silicon Valley-based tech investor and early backer of firms including Dropbox Inc and PayPal Holdings Inc, is targeting a fundraise of $100 million for a new VC fund that will focus on investments in tech startups in Saudia Arabia, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Global private equity fund TA Associates has completed fundraising for its latest flagship fund, TA XV, which launched in late November of last year, with total limited partner commitments at its hard cap of $16.5 billion. 

SUSI Partners held a final closing for the SUSI Asia Energy Transition Fund at the end of May, bringing total fund commitments to $120 million. 

Permira Credit, a specialist European credit investor, has completed fundraising for its fifth direct lending fund, Permira Credit Solutions Fund V (PCS5). Including associated vehicles and leverage, total investable capital for the strategy is €4.2 billion.

Just Climate, an investment business established by Generation Investment Management to address the net-zero challenge at scale, closed its inaugural fund, Climate Assets Fund I, with $1.5 billion in capital commitments exceeding its $1 billion target.

Nexa Equity, a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on investing in lower-middle market application software and fintech businesses, has closed its inaugural fund, Nexa Equity Fund I, with more than $180 million in capital commitments.
