Oakley Capital has raised a continuation fund to acquire IU Group, a German university and specialist in education technology, alongside Oakley Capital Fund V, from Oakley Capital Fund III. 
Global private equity platform Moonfare has held the final close of its second core portfolio, Moonfare Core Portfolio II (Core II), above its fundraising target, taking a proprietary Moonfare portfolio beyond the €100 million mark for the first time. Pantheon, a specialist global private markets investor, has held the final close of its latest private credit secondary offering, Pantheon Credit Opportunities Fund II program, having secured $590 million in commitments from investors, exceeding the initial target size.
AlpInvest Partners and HarbourVest Partners have helped One Equity Partners raise $1 billion for a new continuation fund for two of its portfolio companies – construction parts distributor USCO and laboratory glassware maker DWK Life Sciences – according to a report by Bloomberg. The report cites a statement made by One Equity Partners as revealing that the portfolio companies will use the funds for acquisitions and growth opportunities. LightBay Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on service-based, middle-market companies, has held the close of LightBay Investment Partners II LP and its related vehicles with total capital commitments of $1.04 billion. 
Apollo Global Management
Apollo Global Management has lowered the target for its new flagship buyout fund, with the firm now expecting to secure capital commitments in the “low $20 billion range” rather than the original figure of $25 billion, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Pictet Alternative Advisors, the alternative investment specialist of the Pictet Group, has raised a combined $2.5 billion at the final close of Monte Rosa VI, the sixth fund in its series of diversified, multi-manager private equity funds, and Monte Rosa Co-investments V, the fifth vehicle dedicated to co-investments.
BlackRock Inc is targeting an initial $1 billion fundraise from some of the Middle East’s largest sovereign wealth funds for a new private equity fund focused on infrastructure investments in the region, according to a report by Bloomberg.
