Sameer Mittal & Associates, which was established in 2012, has been Intertrust’s preferred corporate services partner in the region since 2016 and currently employs approximately 50 permanent members of staff.  The business provides a range of administration services dedicated to servicing multinationals, private equity and funds clients. Affiliates of Roark Capital, an Atlanta-based private equity firm focused on investing in multi-location businesses, have invested in US Sports Camps, a US youth sports camp company, serving more than 100,000 campers annually across 1,200-plus camps in 48 states. Founded in 1975 and headquartered in San Rafael, CA, US Sports Camps is the licensed operator of Nike Sports Camps. IK Investment Partners’ (IK) IK Small Cap II Fund has acquired a majority stake in Forthglade Foods Limited (Forthglade) alongside management. This is the first investment by IK’s newly established UK team.  Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Forthglade is a fast-growing UK based natural pet food brand, producing premium wet and dry dog food and treats. London private equity firm ADM Capital Europe’s Cibus Enterprise Fund has acquired a 11.7 per cent stake in the Norwegian agricultural robotics company, Saga Robotics.  Saga is the first to commercialise the UV treatment of mildew, a fungus which has devastated commercial crops in recent years, using a fully automated, modular and autonomous robot, the Thorvald platform.    The initial application of the platform will focus on strawberries, where mildew damage typically costs 2-5 per cent of yield annually, although major outbreaks can be catastrophic for a field (20 per cent-plus), and will be extended to other high value crops
