Despite the prevailing economic uncertainty surrounding Brexit, Velocity Capital Advisors has closed its Velocity Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Technology Fund 5 and Velocity Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) Technology Fund 4, having raised three times the investment secured in the previous funding round. All funds in the portfolio have been deployed with 21 investments completed. Furthermore, investors benefited from 100 per cent tax carry back on their investments. Behrman Capital (Behrman), a private equity investment firm based in New York and San Francisco, has acquired Waterline Renewal Technologies (Waterline), a division of Triwater Holdings. Members of Waterline’s senior management team invested in the transaction alongside Behrman.
