Invision exits Vantage Education after seven years

Invision has sold Vantage Education, a Swiss provider of higher education programmes, to a group of Swiss investors, but the company will continue to be led by the existing management team.

Vantage covers mostly higher and executive education across more than 60 programmes. The educational companies offer high quality education programs in business administration, sales, marketing, information management and tourism management at 13 locations throughout Switzerland.

Over the past seven years, Invision has taken Vantage through a series of consolidation deals, completing five acquisitions. “The unification of various education providers under the umbrella of Vantage proved to be the right strategy to jointly ensure the continuous development of analogue and digital learning content and the quality of education, in addition to the synergies and the associated broad, practice – and transfer-oriented educational offerings,” said Heinz Sommer, CEO of Vantage.

The new Swiss owners aim to support Vantage’s strategy and expand its position in the Swiss educational landscape. Jonathan Wynne, the new chairman of the Vantage Education Group, said they look forward to supporting the group’s long-term ambitions with their educational expertise and capital resources.

“We look forward to working with Heinz and the management team to build on Vantage’s impressive track record to date and further strengthen and expand its position as the group of choice for students in Switzerland,” he said.
