Los Angeles-based private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has sold portfolio company Encore Fire Protection to funds advised by global investment firm Permira.
The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Encore Fire Protection, headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is a leading provider of fire protection services throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US.
The company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including testing and inspection, maintenance and repair, and installation, serving a diverse range of commercial clients. Encore’s end-to-end capabilities cover fire alarm, suppression, extinguisher, and sprinkler systems, addressing the full spectrum of fire safety needs.
Encore was a portfolio investment of LLCP’s Fund VI.
Harris Williams and Robert W. Baird acted as financial advisors, while Kirkland & Ellis provided legal counsel to both LLCP and Encore during the transaction.
