Naxicap Partners, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, is to become the new majority shareholder of TEUFEL following the exit of Hg and, in partnership with its existing management led by Sascha Mallah and Joachim Wimmers, plans a new phase of growth for the company.
Founded in 1979 in Berlin, Teufel is a direct-to-consumer audio brand primarily active mostly in German speaking countries. Teufel has achieved sales of EUR100m+ of as of June 2017 and experienced continuous and impressive growth over the past five years.

Mayfair Equity Partners (Mayfair) has acquired a majority stake in converged ICT services provider GCI. Mayfair’s investment also includes the formation of a new strategic fund worth over GBP60 million, providing GCI with significant financial firepower to finance future strategic acquisitions.
As part of the transaction, Mayfair has purchased the majority of the equity held by Chairman Wayne Martin, who will remain on the GCI board, and the full minority stake held by BGF, which has backed the business since 2012.

Varagon Capital Partners (Varagon) has provided a credit facility to support the continued growth of Eco-Site, a North Carolina-based wireless tower and infrastructure company.
Varagon served as administrative agent and lead arranger on the deal, which included MSouth Equity Partners, a long-time financial partner of Eco-Site.

Elaghmore Partners, the UK-focused private equity firm, has acquired McPhee Bros (Blantyre) Limited (McPhee Mixers), a leading UK designer and manufacturer of truck-mounted concrete mixer units, known as McPhee Mixers, for an undisclosed multi-million-pound sum.
Founded in 1971, McPhee Mixers is well-established as one of the leading UK suppliers of mixers to the construction and quarrying industry.
McPhee Mixers designs, manufactures and supplies its mixers from its headquarters in Blantyre, Glasgow. It offers its customers, including some of the largest multinational businesses in the construction and aggregate industry, a unique product range of mixers tailored to their requirements. Cathay Capital and Bpifrance are to acquire a majority stake in global financial software company NeoXam from BlackFin Capital Partners.
The deal comes off the back of a sustained period of growth for NeoXam, a provider of data management and transaction solutions to financial institutions. Over the past two years, the French based firm’s (EUR62.5 million) revenue has increased by +25 per cent and it has signed more than 32 deals and hired over 150 employees.

International law firm, Addleshaw Goddard has successfully advised on the sale of ICS Learn in a management buyout backed by private equity firm Primary Capital Partners.
The MBO was led by existing ICS Learn CEO, Colin Kennedy and Finance Director, Alison Doyle.

TriState Capital Holdings’ Chartwell Investment Partners business officially closed on the acquisition of approximately USD1.06 billion of client assets under management (AUM) from Columbia Partners.
This combination brings Chartwell’s total AUM to more than USD9 billion. As part of the acquisition, the company acquired institutional client accounts with a mix of high-grade fixed income and large-cap equity assets, which generate annualised revenue of more than USD2 million, as well as a team of three experienced professionals.

The firm now has USD2 billion in assets under management.
Limited partners in Fund IV include new investors as well as a significant representation of existing investors, including university endowments, pension funds, insurance companies and foundations. The Aberdeen Standard Investments infrastructure team has made a second investment in a gas pipeline and processing system, acquiring InfraVia Capital Partners Managed Fund’s 20 per cent interest in Noordgastransport (NGT), the owner of a pipeline and processing plant transporting and treating natural gas that is principally produced from the Dutch Continental Shelf.
The entire NGT system, which is operated by Neptune Energy, incorporates a 178km 36” pipeline constructed in 1975, a 140km 36” pipeline constructed in 1999 and a processing plant located onshore at Uithuizen. The system connects approximately 75 platforms of different operators to the processing facility.
