Online, self-storage marketplace SpareFoot is to acquire SiteLink, a provider of cloud-based software solutions for the self-storage industry.
The deal will bring together two dynamic companies and allow the combined business to accelerate investment, drive innovation and generate value for both consumers and facility operators in the USD38 billion self-storage industry.
Cove Hill Partners, a private equity firm based in Boston, will acquire a majority stake in both businesses. SpareFoot CEO Chuck Gordon will become CEO of the combined company, and Ross Lampe will remain President of SiteLink with his team continuing to serve self-storage customers. bfinance is to conduct the manager search and selection for a new GBP250 million private debt allocation from the pension schemes of five London Boroughs – Ealing, Havering, Lambeth, Wandsworth and Merton (Five Boroughs).
This will be the Five Boroughs’ first investment in private debt, with the Ealing-led search for an asset manager commencing on 29 March 2018. All five boroughs are part of the London Pension Collective Investment Vehicle (London CIV) pool, which has not yet launched a private debt investment programme.

Willkie Farr & Gallagher has PAI Partners on the structuring and fundraising of its seventh pan-European fund, PAI Europe VII, which was oversubscribed and reached its hard cap of EUR5 billion in less than six months.

Selkirk-based Oregon Timber Frame Limited (Oregon) has completed a buy-out of its non-management shareholders, including the 15 per cent stake in the business held by its largest external shareholder group, Archangel Investors (Archangels).
The move brings to a close a near 20 year relationship between Oregon – one of the UK’s largest independent timber frame house manufacturers – and Archangels, the Edinburgh-based business angel investment syndicate.

Align Capital Partners’ (ACP) platform company Alliance Source Testing (Alliance) has completed its third add-on acquisition with the purchase of Air Pollution Testing (APT).
APT provides source emission testing (stack testing) and oil & gas laboratory services to customers in the western US with offices in Denver, Salt Lake City and Anchorage.
Acquiring APT was an important next step for ACP who is actively investing in growth to build a national, best-in-class stack testing platform. Strategically, APT allows Alliance to enter two new markets in the West, while bolstering its current team in Utah.

Rasmala Group’s Rasmala Trade Finance Fund has crossed the USD250 million threshold in assets under management. The Fund has generated an annualised return of 4.45 per cent since its inception in September 2014.
Rasmala said that heightened demand from asset managers to access genuinely uncorrelated investment products has seen the Fund grow significantly in just the last year. The Fund is proving to be popular among institutional investors and family offices seeking uncorrelated returns.

OrthoD is a specialist manufacturer and distributor of medical products and implants for joint reconstruction, sport medicine, surgical products and infection control applications. Financial details have not been disclosed.
