Boston-based private equity firm, New Heritage Capital, (Heritage), has become a minority stakeholder in the Canada-headquartered Flying Colours Corp (Flying Colours), a refurbishment, completion and MRO business. The transaction, structured using Heritage’s Private IPO® solution, was ratified and signed by Flying Colours President, John Gillespie, and Heritage Partner, Judson Samuels, on 31 January 2018. Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St Louis, and Chicago-based private equity firm Onward Capital, have partnered to acquire Wright City, Missouri-based Tech Manufacturing as an add-on to their joint platform company, Domaille Engineering. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Tech Manufacturing is a manufacturer of complex five-axis structural aerospace parts. The company has special expertise in unique contoured parts and monolithic components that require five-axis milling, whether made of aluminium, steel, titanium, or other materials. Global Infrastructure Partners’ (GIP) third equity fund, Global Infrastructure Partners III, is to acquire NRG Energy’s integrated US renewable energy platform, including its controlling stake and 46 per cent economic interest in NRG Yield, as well as NRG’s renewable energy operations and maintenance (O&M) and development businesses. GIP is acquiring the business for USD1.375 billion in cash, subject to certain adjustments. Kirkland & Ellis advises Alteri Investors on the acquisition of CBR Fashion Group from Swedish financial investor EQT. The purchase agreement has been signed subject to customary closing conditions. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Alteri Investors is a specialist investor in the European retail sector.
