Law firm Paul Hastings has advised Madison Energy, a division of Chicago-based Madison Industries, on the acquisition of the Centek Group.
UK-headquartered Centek Group specialises in the development of engineering solutions for the world’s toughest casing running environments and is a world leading designer and manufacturer of centralisers, primarily for the oil and gas industry.

EOS Investment Management (EOS IM) has acquired Eurofiere, a specialist in the design and creation of exhibition stands and temporary stores & shops, showroom and interior designs.
The main goal of the acquisition is for EOS IM to support the company’s expansion plans in Italy and internationally.

Physical Therapy Management (Alliance PT), an affiliate of GPB Capital and Alliance Physical Therapy Partners, is to acquire the US operations of Agility Health.
The transaction, which is expected to close in February 2018 and is subject to customary closing conditions and certain regulatory approvals, would add, among other things, more freestanding outpatient physical therapy clinics, a contracted therapy business, and proprietary clinic management software (AgileRPM), to Alliance PT’s portfolio.
The agreement stipulates that Alliance PT will acquire 100 per cent of the membership interests in Agility Health, LLC, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based US operations of Agility Health, for

Think3, a private equity fund for SaaS founders, is launching a new USD1 billion fund to encourage and empower entrepreneurs to take more shots at developing the next unicorn.
Instead of holding onto their current, modestly-growing company, the fund will buy their company and transition founders in 100 days to take their full team and build their next startup, providing USD500,000 in a no-equity angel round to get started.

Tech company Spark EV is driving business development of its artificial intelligence-based journey prediction system for electric vehicles (EV) with a GBP50,000 investment from New Anglia Capital as part of its seed investment round.
The company, which recently expanded into new premises at Lanwades Business Park near Newmarket in Suffolk, will use the investment to expand business development. This includes adding a trade manager to support overseas sales, particularly in Scandinavia, where it is already receiving strong interest.
