Unilever has received a binding offer from KKR to purchase its global Spreads business for EUR6.825 billion on a cash-free, debt-free basis. Egeria has held the first and final closing of the Egeria Private Equity Fund V, having raised EUR800 million in capital commitments in a record time of just six weeks. Independent investment bank Zeus Capital has acted as nominated adviser (NOMAD) and sole broker to Sumo Group, as the independent game developer announces its GBP145 million AIM IPO. The UK’s third largest bakery chain, Coopland & Son, has received an investment of GBP8.5m from BGF to accelerate the rollout of its shops across the north of England. From its three bakeries in Scarborough, Durham and Hull, the company delivers traditionally-made, high-quality produce including breads, sandwiches, pies, pasties and cakes to more than 140 Cooplands shops, 11 cafes and 28 sandwich vans. Agilitas-backed Relita, the Swedish division of Recover Nordic group, a provider of damage control, emergency response and environmental services, has agreed to acquire Betongborrargruppen i Mälardalen AB (BBG), a company specialising in specialist demolition and remediation of concrete for real estate projects in Sweden. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.   BBG was founded in 1997 undertaking projects for mainly larger Swedish construction and real estate companies. Dalmore Capital (Dalmore) and GLIL Infrastructure LLP (GLIL) are to acquire, on a 50/50 basis, a 15 per cent interest in Anglian Water Group (AWG) from 3i. AWG manages water and water recycling services in the East of England and Hartlepool, and is the largest water and sewerage company in England and Wales by geographic area. Funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management have completed the placement of EUR135 million of debt secured against a majority stake in Eolia Renovables de Inversiones SCR (Eolia) with Brookfield’s infrastructure debt business. The transaction was used to finance a dividend recapitalisation to Oaktree and cover transaction costs. The debt raised represents the largest transaction of its kind performed on a pure-play Spanish dedicated Renewables IPP, highlighting the attractive credit characteristics Eolia offers the broad International investor community. GSV Asset Management has secured a strategic investment from a group led by HMC Capital (HMC), a Latin American advisory and investment firm. While terms of the deal have not been disclosed, the investment will result in a minority ownership interest for the HMC-led group in GSV Asset Management.
