Private equity firm Silverfleet Capital is to acquire a majority stake in the 7days group (7days), a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of medical workwear. Terms of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.
The founders will reinvest alongside Silverfleet Capital and remain with the Company.
Founded in 1999 by Marc Staperfeld and Ulrich Doelken and based in Lotte, Germany, 7days is a vertically integrated online and mail order business, which supplies clothing and accessories to the healthcare industry, specifically medical practices and dentists.

CAMRADATA, a provider of data and analysis for institutional investors, has acquired specialist publishing business, Funds Europe Limited – a move that will boost CAMRADATA’s research arm, expand its publishing capabilities and events business and extend its database reach into Europe.
The acquisition will be completed by 14 December 2017 and will see nine editorial, sales and administration staff transfer across and relocate to CAMRADATA’s Leadenhall Street offices in the City of London from their current office.

Schönes Leben Group, a subsidiary of independent private equity company Waterland, has purchased Ulm-based care specialist compassio, the operator of 28 care homes for elderly people with 3,058 spaces in southern Germany.
The acquisition has taken the recently established Schönes Leben Group on its first steps towards becoming an outstanding platform for retirement care, new ways of living for older people and innovative packages for retirees from the age of 65. Care specialist compassio generates revenue of around 110 million euros and forms the first strategic pillar.

AMP Capital has increased its stake in the Victorian Desalination Project (VDP) on behalf of investors in its Community Infrastructure Fund (CommIF).
VDP was delivered as a public private partnership (PPP) and is the largest desalination plant in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a rainfall-independent source of drinking water and capable of supplying up to 150 gigalitres a year, which is approximately one third of Melbourne’s annual water consumption.
CommIF has bought a 4.55 per cent stake in VDP from Suez, taking AMP Capital’s share of VDP to 9.75 per cent. CommIF took out a 5.2 per cent stake

Terms of the deal, which is expected to close shortly, have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1984 and based in Burton-on-Trent in the UK, Riviera is a leading operator of escorted tours with a focus on the over 55s market.
