Frontenac, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has closed its eleventh private equity fund at its USD325 million hard cap. The fund raise was completed in six months based on strong support from existing limited partners of the USD250 million Frontenac X, and the addition of several new investors.    Frontenac focuses on lower middle market buyout transactions in the consumer, industrial, and services industries. IGF, a commercial finance provider for SMEs, has delivered a GBP100k invoice finance facility to Industro, a specialist engineering firm and labour provider based in the North East of England. Industro sought a new finance partner to help fund its growth ambitions, with the aim of winning larger contracts and expanding their business. These new contracts will also give the business the capacity to employ more staff for on-site project work.   Established in July 2016, Industro specialises in design, fabrication, installation and structural inspection using drone technology on client sites, as well as providing specialist labour for the sector.
Maven and YFM-backed Indigo Telecom Group (Indigo), a provider of multi-vendor managed and project services to Tier 1 and 2 telecom network operators, equipment vendors, multi-national corporations and government clients, has acquired Belcom247 (Belcom UK Ltd). Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in promising companies at the lower end of the middle market, has formed a new partnership with MB2 Dental Solutions (MB2), a dental service organisation (DSO) with a physician-centric ownership model. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Rewards Network, a provider of marketing, loyalty services, dining rewards programs and financing to the restaurant industry, has been acquired by TowerBrook Capital Partners, a New York and London-based investment management firm, from Equity Group Investments (EGI). The transaction is complete and financial terms have not been not disclosed. TowerBrook’s investment in Rewards Network is the result of a thesis-driven sourcing effort focused on identifying differentiated tech-enabled service providers to the rewards and loyalty sector. UK insurance premium financing and software company PremFina has raised USD33 million in equity and debt. The funds will be used to help PremFina expand into new global markets and meet high demand in the UK. PremFina is fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
